A white-label instance is a video conferencing service that runs under your brand. It has its own host name, product name, logo, colors, email sender and settings. People who use it do not see our name.
Every instance is a configuration of the same platform, not a separate installation. That is why one company can run many instances side by side, and why a new instance can be ready within minutes.
Instances are arranged in levels. Each level manages the levels below it.
| Level | Who works here | What they manage |
|---|---|---|
| Distributor | A partner who sells through resellers | Their resellers, and every instance below them |
| Reseller | A partner who sells to end customers | Their own instances |
| White-label instance | The organization whose brand the service carries | The accounts in the instance, and its settings and branding |
| Account | A customer organization inside an instance | Its own users, meeting rooms and meeting defaults |
| User | An account administrator or a meeting organizer | Their own meetings |
Not every partnership uses every level. A company that runs a single instance for its own staff works only at instance level and below. A reseller without a distributor starts at reseller level.
Distributor and reseller administrators work in the partner portal, the administration area for resellers and distributors, and manage the instances below them there. Accounts and users are managed inside the instance itself. See the Account Administrator Hand Book.
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Distributor administrator | Create resellers and the instances below them, edit their settings and branding, add administrators to them, and see their statistics |
| Reseller administrator | Create instances, edit their settings and branding, add administrators to them, see their statistics, and run white-label trials |
| Instance administrator | Create and manage the accounts in the instance, edit the instance's settings, branding, texts, web hooks and API keys, and see its statistics |
| Account administrator | Manage the users, meeting rooms and defaults of one account |
| Meeting organizer | Schedule and run meetings |
An administrator of a level is also an administrator of every level below it. A reseller administrator can therefore open and change any instance of that reseller without being added to it separately.
Every level has its own host name, and the host name you log in on decides what you see:
Because logging in on an instance always requires an account, adding an administrator to an instance also creates a small trial account for them. The setup guide explains this step.
| You want to change | Where |

| Logo, icon, colors, background image, custom CSS | Configuration > Branding in the partner portal, or Platform settings > Branding inside the instance. See Branding. |
| The texts of the user interface and of emails | Configuration > Languages in the partner portal, or Platform settings > Languages inside the instance. See Texts and languages. |
| Accounts, their rooms and their administrators | Account management inside the instance |
