The Advantages of Veeting Solutions

A Veeting Corporate instance runs on your own domain, under your own brand. Branding covers more than ten options, which is well past a logo swap. You set logos for light and dark interfaces, a full set of app and device icons, your colors, a social sharing image, and your own CSS where the rest does not reach. Most of them already carry a working value, so nothing looks unfinished while you decide what to change.

Configuration is a separate matter, and there is a great deal of it. Well over a hundred settings, grouped by area, run from the meeting room itself through email, region, and legal and compliance. Dozens of them are named feature switches you turn on or leave off for your instance, so a feature that does not belong in your organization is not there at all. Most of them you will never touch. They are there for the requirement that is not the usual one.

None of it starts from a blank form. Every setting resolves from a default, so an instance is configured the moment it is created, and the only ones left empty are those nobody but you can supply, such as your own SMTP server or certificate.

Where it runs is your choice too. Veeting runs in our Swiss cloud or in your own data center, and an installation makes no outside calls for licensing or media relay.

There are two directions, and which one you need decides which product to look at.

With Veeting Corporate, you connect Veeting to the systems you already run. Your own system creates accounts and schedules meetings for your users through a REST API, so a booking system, a CRM, or an internal workflow can arrange a meeting without anyone opening a browser. Your system can also react as things happen, rather than polling for them. There are web hooks for a meeting being scheduled, updated or closed, for somebody joining or leaving, for a recording that is ready to collect, and for reminders before a meeting starts.

With Veeting Blocks, you put Veeting inside your own application. You add video to your own pages with web components that behave like any other HTML element, and you drive them from one JavaScript and TypeScript API. There is no proprietary client to install, for you or for the people you invite.

If neither fits, you can get a long way with an iFrame and a set of URL parameters. Whichever route you take, you can hand the decision about who may join a meeting to an authorization service of your own.

Veeting Partners is the same platform arranged for resale. The hierarchy has four levels, from the system through distributors and resellers to the individual white-label instance. Each level inherits from the one above and overrides only what has to differ.

That is what makes an unlimited number of branded instances practical. Creating one is not copying a configuration; it is setting the handful of values that differ. A distributor that needs a policy to hold everywhere beneath it, such as a data retention period or a login method, fixes the value once, and no level below can change it.

A link, and a browser. Nothing to download, no plug-in, no account for guests. This is Veeting Rooms, and it is the part every platform claims, so we will be brief about it.

A meeting room comes with audio and video, screen sharing, a whiteboard, shared documents, an agenda, chat, polls, shared minutes, private notes, breakout rooms, an AI assistant, and dial-in by telephone for anyone without a usable connection. Which of these a room offers is down to the feature switches from the first section, so an instance shows only what its operator turned on. You can record a meeting, or hold it off the record. That is a meeting type of its own rather than a setting somebody has to remember, and it runs peer to peer and end to end encrypted, which is what makes it suitable for a confidential conversation.

Three cases where something else will serve you better, so you do not have to find out during a trial.

• A large public broadcast with no interaction. Veeting is built around a conversation people take part in. If you want to stream to an audience that only watches, a streaming platform is the right tool.
• A persistent team workspace. Channels, files, and threads that live between meetings are a different category of product. Veeting is where the meeting happens.
• Something to run yourself for free. Veeting is licensed and supported. You can host it in your own data center, but you are still a customer, not the maintainer of an open source project.
