Upload and share documents with all meeting participants for presentation, discussion, collaboration, and innovation.
It is possible that the meeting organizer uploaded documents prior to the meeting. You will find these documents under this tab and will be able to download them. To add documents drag and drop them in the window or click on ‘Upload files’.

Next to each document you find:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| ‘Open’ | Opens the document in the meeting room |
| ‘Converting…’ | An office document is being converted so it can be shown; ‘Open’ follows when it is ready |
| ‘Download’ | Saves the file on your computer |
| ‘Request’ | Shown instead of ‘Download’ in some meetings. Click it to receive the file; ‘Downloading…’ shows while it arrives. |
| ‘Delete’ | Removes the document, if you are allowed to |
Which buttons you see depends on your permissions.
When a document is open, the toolbar above it offers:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| ‘Previous page’, ‘Next page’ | Turns the pages of a PDF or a converted document |
| ‘Zoom in’, ‘Zoom out’, ‘Rotate’ | Changes how the document is shown |
| ‘Highlight’, ‘Laser pointer’ | Points out something on the page; ‘Clear highlight’ removes your highlights |
| ‘Set as Whiteboard background’ | Puts the current page on the whiteboard, so everyone can draw on it |
| ‘Fullscreen’ | Shows the document on your whole screen |
| ‘Close’ | Closes the document and goes back to the list |
Videos and audio files have ‘Play’, ‘Pause’ and ‘Change volume’.
Besides files, the ‘Documents’ tab can hold:
Share your entire screen or just an application window with your meeting participants by clicking on ‘Start screen sharing’ in the top left corner of your interface. Participants can switch to full screen and follow your cursor while enjoying excellent quality by clicking on the enlarge icon in the top right corner of the interface.
Click ‘Stop screen sharing’ when you are done. If the button is missing, you are not allowed to share your screen in this meeting, or your browser cannot share a screen.
While someone shares their screen, you may also see:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| ‘Take screenshot’ | Saves a picture of the shared screen in the ‘Documents’ tab |
| ‘Add screenshot as whiteboard background’ | Puts a picture of the shared screen on the whiteboard |
If your platform hides your own shared screen from you, you see the message ‘You’re sharing your screen.’ instead. This avoids an endless mirror effect; the others still see your screen.
With ‘Frame rate’ (if available) in ‘Settings’ (classic layout: ‘Tools’) you choose how many images per second your screen sharing sends.
Upload an image, or set a document page (for instance a slide) as background (‘Set as Whiteboard background’ in Documents), to get your point across with clear visuals and powerful text. All participants see slide changes automatically as they occur, and everyone can draw on the slides to highlight important points in real time.
Under the ‘Whiteboard’ tab you can also create schematic drawings and work on a process together.

| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| ‘Freehand drawing’ | Draw with the mouse or a pen |
| ‘Erase’ | Erase what was drawn |
| ‘Transform objects’ | Select, move and resize objects |
| ‘Laser pointer’ | Point at something without drawing |
| ‘Delete selected object’ | Removes the selected object |
| ‘Add text’ | Writes text on the slide |
| ‘Add shape’ | Adds a shape such as a rectangle or an arrow |
| ‘Zoom in’, ‘Zoom out’ | Changes the size of the slide on your screen |
| ‘Background pattern’ | A plain, checked or lined background |
| ‘Upload background to new slide’ | Adds a new slide with an image of your choice as background |
| ‘Open on your tablet’ | Shows a code you scan with your tablet to draw on the whiteboard from there |
| ‘Fullscreen’ | Shows the whiteboard on your whole screen |
The slides are at the top. Click a slide to show it, or the ‘+’ button to add an empty one. Drawing tools only appear if you are allowed to draw.
