Chat, minutes, notes and polls

Agenda

It is possible that the meeting organizer uploaded an agenda prior to the meeting. In this case you will also find the agenda in your invitation and, once you have joined, under the ‘Agenda’ tab. Make the best use of time by setting the agenda for the meeting in advance. When everyone is on the same wavelength, your virtual meetings are even more productive. It is still possible to adapt the agenda during the meeting.

Group Chat

Broaden your communication and support brainstorming in meetings with text messaging. Send and receive messages instantly with our real-time chat system under the ‘Group chat’ tab. Type your message into ‘Write your message here…’ and send it.

Private chat

The meeting organizer can also open a private chat with a specific participant by clicking the chat icon next to that participant's name in the participant list. When someone writes to you privately, a chat window opens where you can answer.

Webinars and confidential (off-the-record) meetings have no private chat.

Moderated chat

In some meetings the chat is moderated. Your message then only appears for the others once a moderator approves it.

You seeWhat it means
‘Awaiting approval’Your message waits for a moderator. Only you and the moderators see it.
‘Not shown to the room’A moderator has not approved your message. The others do not see it.
‘Anonymous’In some meetings, approved messages are shown without the sender's name

Minutes

Take the minutes online under the ‘Minutes’ tab as you go through your agenda to ensure good record-keeping and follow through on important action points. Share this task among team members and allow everyone to contribute simultaneously. These meeting minutes will be shared among all participants.

Private Notes

These are your private notes taken during the meeting under the ‘Private notes’ tab and can only be viewed yourself and will not be shared with others.

Polls

Under the ‘Polls’ tab you take part in votes during the meeting.

  1. When a poll is open for voting, click ‘Vote’ next to it.
  2. Choose your answer and click ‘Vote’.
  3. Once the results are published, ‘Show results’ appears next to the poll.

If you are allowed to, you can also create a poll yourself with ‘Create new poll’. Confidential (off-the-record) meetings have no polls.

AI assistant

The ‘AI assistant’ tab (if available) answers questions during the meeting. Your platform administrator decides whether the AI assistant is available. It is not offered in confidential (off-the-record) meetings or in webinars.

  1. Read the box ‘Information about this AI assistant’. It explains which service processes your questions.
  2. Type your question into ‘Write your question here…’.
  3. Click ‘Ask question’.

The questions and answers appear in the tab, each with the name of the person who asked. The answers are generated by an AI and may not always be accurate or complete.
